The drying out of refractory lined vessels and structures by using heating and ventilating operating procedures to produce optimum refractory properties. Failure to do so may lead to steam generation causing refractory failure. The expertise of Cooperheat in this area ensures maximum flexibility and minimum down time.

Heat treatment can be carried out using Cooperheat high velocity burners. This
practical solution can be made even more cost effective if the customer constructs the furnace framework.

The use of Cooperheat high velocity burners is an effective method of curing and driving out moisture from refractory materials used in process industries such as steel, petrochemical, aluminium, glass and many other diverse applications.

Working under carefully controlled conditions, we eliminate the risk of damage that can be caused by spalling and thereby extend the life of the refractory.
